Ceramics
Keith Bailey
From the very beginning of my journey with ceramics I have wanted my work to look “un-modern” in a contemporary kind of way. Working with clay, and especially Raku, is about chaos and control, fire and earth, and fragility and resilience. The Raku firing process is dynamic and organic with the kiln and fire determining the final look of a vessel and creating crackle and iridescent hues that seem to embody impermanence. As I delve deeper into the alchemy of Raku my art evolves and with each piece I invite you to enjoy the beauty that arises from the embrace of imperfection.

Painting/Mixed Media
Bonnie Binkert
Inspired by the light, culture and natural beauty of the southwest landscape, my main body of work is a
series of atmospheric landscapes celebrating the colorful seasons and senses of the Land of
Enchantment. By using mostly warm colors – red, rust, orange, ochre and yellow – I try to convey the
warmth and beauty of New Mexico’s high desert. I work in a variety of mediums for I love the
transparency of watercolors, the vibrancy of acrylics, and the velvety textures of oils.

Jewelry
Barbara Weber Yoffee
One could say that jewelry is small sculpture, but I think of metal as my canvas and gemstones as my palette. Archeological treasures of ancient civilizations have been a primary inspiration for my work. As far back as we know, human beings have adorned themselves with jewelry. It is quite surprising how contemporary these ancient designs actually are. Beauty is timeless!
The vibrant colors and landscapes of my beloved New Mexico and countries where I have traveled extensively - Europe, Asia, South Asia and Latin America - all of which captured my imagination.
